
Millions of dead anchovies floating Tuesday morning in the harbor at Redondo Beach just south of Los Angeles, stopping up boat lines and confusing many bystanders and city officials. The many reasons for the sudden deaths are unknown. Initial tests found decreased oxygen levels, which could point to a "red tide" of plankton or an algae infestation. Do to the mass animal deaths over the past months, alot of people are begining to think these are signs of the apocalypse.
On New Years Day, thousands of dead birds were found covering the streets and rooftops of beebe, ark. while a similar phenomenon was also discovered in Kentucky and Louisiana. Massive fish deaths were reported in Maryland's chesapake bay and in Brazil. An estimated 40,000 dead crabs also washed up on beaches in England in January.
