A magnitude 9.0 earthquake hit northern Japan on March 11, starting tsunamis that caused widespread devastation and damaged a nuclear power plant. 43 people died in hospitals because of failed medical care since the earthquake and tsunami.. Power outages and lack of heat and medical supplies are cited as reasons for the deaths. Japan's National Police Agency says 9,811 people are dead, 17, 541 are missing as of 9 p.m. Thursday night. The amount of radioactive iodine in Tokyo's tap water dropped considerably in a test Thursday morning, down to a level that would be considered safe for infants to drink, the city's government said.

The crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, damaged after the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, has given a fresh urgency, she says, to a medical problem of vast dimensions, highlighted reports that emerge daily on the spread of radiation. A pediatrician, Caldicott came from her native Australia to become an instructor on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, where she specialized in the treatment of cystic fibrosis at the Children's Hospital Medical Center. She soon helped revive the moribund Physicians for Social Responsibility, a health organization dedicated to halting the proliferation and use of nuclear weapons and nuclear power.

Chanel rocks The Runway.

Models presented creations by German designer Karl Lagerfeld for French fashion house Chanel during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. the Chanel show this morning and seeing the floor covered in black pebbles and smoking rocks, people immediately began guessing the source of Karl Lagerfeld’s inspired set. The Icelandic volcanic? A meteor strike and the end of fashion as we know it? Personally, I favored a spa in Hawaii. Temperatures have finally warmed up here.
In the end, after seeing a dozen or so male and female models file down the winding, misty boardwalk, I settled upon “Lord of the Rings.” It seemed good imagery for Mr. Lagerfeld’s dark palette (as in, black and gray with ivory) brightened occasionally with deep red, a silvery gray or watery blue.
But the clothes were resolutely contemporary, more masculine than froufrou Chanel. For day, he essentially offered soft, wide-leg trousers (worn inside flat lace-up boots with attached rib-knit cuffs) or short skirts layered over dark stretch jeans. Jackets have a double look—a cropped forest green boucle jacket, say, over a lightweight charcoal blazer. The stretch jeans (or leggings, if you like) appeared in his January couture show as well. He also had great tunics, as capes and long pullovers. Capped shoulders, tunics, and some high necklines vaguely suggested a medieval influence.

Millions of dead anchovies floating Tuesday morning in the harbor at Redondo Beach just south of Los Angeles, stopping up boat lines and confusing many bystanders and city officials. The many reasons for the sudden deaths are unknown. Initial tests found decreased oxygen levels, which could point to a "red tide" of plankton or an algae infestation. Do to the mass animal deaths over the past months, alot of people are begining to think these are signs of the apocalypse.
On New Years Day, thousands of dead birds were found covering the streets and rooftops of beebe, ark. while a similar phenomenon was also discovered in Kentucky and Louisiana. Why Monogamy Matters.

Premarital Sex
premartial sex in the eyes of the readers, is not what our society should really look over because many of us suffer from it. and by many of us , i mean women because we tend to have more emotions toward any situation that we are in, unlike men we can not just have sexual contact without any "strings attached". people with multiple partners, in the readers point of view are not terrible and is against the will of God and maybe some others religion, but in order for people to understand that premartial sex is the killer of many because of the STD's and AID's that can be passed around due to promiscuous people, they have to experience it for themselves to see what that lifestyle really has in store for them. teenagers expereince this the most do to the peer presure and drug and alcohol abuse.

Monogamy
monogamy is what your basic married couple is. settled, one partner and wont commit idolatry, the reader should believe in monogamy because its what our society should be living, and what the adult should be teaching the young to understand. monogamy is what God whats us to acutally go about. in the readers eyes, the topic should affect their choice in life because doesnt everyone what the perfect life without problems and/or  disease that can ruin or end their life before they can enjoy it.
